Preschool Program (Ages 2-5)

Turning Point Christian Preschool offers classes for ages 3 through 5 year-olds and a smaller class size for children age 2. Our team of experienced, loving, teachers provide a well-versed structured day of lessons – including center learning, gross and fine motor skill development, music, cooking, phonics, numbers, shapes, colors, and science. Our school offers small class sizes to allow individualized learning opportunities.

We embrace the whole child in our teaching philosophy and provide many opportunities for them to learn and grow with hands on activities.  We have monthly in house field trips that enhance our thematic learning.  We get to visit chapel as a preschool with a special time of worship.  Our school offers enrichment activities.  We have different schedules to meet your family needs.  Contact us today to schedule a tour.

Program Options, Tuition & Fees

Elementary (K-Grade 8)

Kindergarten through seventh grade are the foundational years for academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.  We exist to provide a well-rounded, Christian-based education that will equip our students for success wherever God leads them.  We are pleased to provide an opportunity for students to be immersed in the richness of a well rounded, classic education, focused on God’s eternal Truth.  Low student to teacher ratios provide a more student centered environment in which teachers are able adapt to the individual learning styles and specific needs of students in each classroom.  There is more freedom for creativity and enhancement to the academic curriculum.

Turning Point Christian School offers our students the opportunity to develop and enhance their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities in the fields of music, physical education through professional sports trainers, a mobile library, computer technology, and after school performing arts classes

• Homeschool families have the freedom to choose their own curriculum. TPCS highly recommends Abeka curriculum for TK-Grade 7 students. Abeka content is a Christian, faith based curriculum. Lesson plans guide you step by step, day after day. We recommend you check out www.Abeka.com for more information. For a wider selection of excellent curriculum sources, go to www.christianbook.com/homeschool.

• TPCS offers you the legal umbrella of our Private School Affidavit (PSA) with the California Department of Education (CDE).

• TPCS will keep an up to date record of your child’s education and progress on file in the school offices.

• TPCS will invite your child to join students his/her age for field trips, weekly chapels, and other special events.

• TPCS will introduce all of our homeschool families to one another — so you can encourage and support one another.

• TPCS does not offer day to day guidance for homeschooling. We play an important, support role — but do not offer help with implementing lesson plans.
